Outdoor Recreation

Outdoor Recreation is responsible for the Parks Pavilions in Pendle. This covers the maintenance of the following:

  • Bowling greens
  • Pitch and Putt areas
  • Tennis courts
  • Sports facilities for Football, Cricket and Rugby
  • Cafés at Alkincoats Park, Victory Park and Victoria Park
  • Fishing - Foulridge Reservoir and Ballgrove Park

Sporting Events

  • Pendle Youth Tournament - 4th, 5th June 2005, at Bullholme/Swindon Playing Fields
  • Barley Fell Race - to be confirmed
  • Tomlinson Cup (Bowling) to be confirmed
  • Pendle Championship (Bowling) to be confirmed
