The Purpose of the Plan
The Plan sets out how the Council will implement our Equal Opportunities Policy in the Borough.
What the Plan covers?
The Plan has been divided into 4 headings:
- Leadership & Corporate Commitment
- Consultation, Community Development and Scrutiny
- Service Delivery and Customer Care
- Employment and Training
The Council is currently asking a wide range of key stakeholders including elected members, staff , statutory and non statutory partners, the voluntary and community sector and residents what they think.
We would like to here your views on the questions below:
- Is there a gap between the way some people are served by the Council, and the people of Pendle as a whole?
- If you need to contact the Council, what is the easiest way of getting in touch?
- Has it ever been difficult getting in touch?
- Have you or your family/friend ever:
- needed an interpreter or written translation?
- found it difficult to physically get into a council building?
- found that the Council was not open when you needed them to be?
- Did you vote in the local election?
