If the repairs set out above are not completed on time you have the right to ask the Council to appoint another contractor to carry out those repairs within the time limits. If the second contractor does not complete the repair within the time limits, you are entitled to compensation at the rate of £10 per day for every day the second contractor took over the set time limit to complete the repair.
