Housing repairs - Gas Servicing
The Council has a requirement to service gas appliances

The Council is required by law to service all gas appliances (not gas cookers) every 12 months.
It is very important when the gas servicing company calls to service your gas fires and boilers that you let them in. If you refuse entry this could result in legal action being taken against you, the costs of which will be recharged.
You will be provided with a gas safety certificate once the gas appliances in your home have passed the annual test so that you know that your gas appliances are safe to use.
