Home improvements - adaptations to a council property - temporary accommodation
When we carry out major works to your home we try to arrange them so you can remain in your home whilst the works are being carried out.

In the unlikely event that you have to leave your home temporarily, we will charge you the same rent you would have paid if you remained in your home.
We would arrange temporary accommodation having regard for your needs. You may be entitled to a disturbance allowance payment which would cover things like your removal costs, replumbing your washing machine, disconnection and reconnection of cookers. You might be entitled to disturbance allowance.
