The 1998 Crime and Disorder Act required all Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships (CDRP) to undertake an audit of crime and disorder in their area every three years.
The Audit is designed to highlight areas of concern which will then be addressed in a strategy document. It is a review of both the statistical evidence of crime and disorder and the views of the community about levels of crime and disorder, and it was prepared by Pendle Crime & Disorder Reduction Partnership, with assistance from the MADE (Multi-Agency Data Exchange) Project. Contact details are given at the end of the main report.
The audit contains data from all the statutory authorities in Lancashire in order to give as broad a picture of crime and disorder problems in the County as possible.
