The East Lancashire Partnership is a strategic organisation involved in shaping the future of East Lancashire to bring about positive and lasting change. The Partnership was formally established in April 1997 by the six borough councils of East Lancashire, Lancashire County Council, ELTEC (now replaced by the Learning and Skills Council), the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Lancashire Enterprises PLC, and the Consortium of East Lancashire Enterprise Agencies.

Working closely with the six Borough Councils, East lancashire Partnership's Inward Investment Team promotes East Lancashire as a prime location in which to live, work and invest.
